Ophthalmology Bioinformatics Core Director
There is an open position at Stanford University in the Department of Ophthalmology for a bioinformatician with expertise in the analysis of genome-wide datasets related to gene expression. While reporting directly to the Chairman Dr. Jeffrey L. Goldberg, the position will collaborate with faculty in the Department who are performing projects in the field of Vision Research requiring bioinformatics expertise. The incumbent will contribute to project design, acquisition of data, interpretation, and publication of "-omics" datasets. The competitive applicant will have published research based upon RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Hi-C, and other state- of-the-art technologies.
