Position description The Electrical Engineering department in the School of Engineering anticipates hiring multiple Readers for the below courses for Academic Year 2026-2027:
EE 001: Electrical Engineering Introduction EE 005: Designing and Building Electrical Engineering Systems EE 021: Introduction to Electrical Engineering Programming EE 060: Digital Systems Design EE 065: Electrical Circuit Theory EE 101: Electronic Circuit Design I EE 102: Signal Processing and Linear Systems EE 105: Semiconductor Devices EE 115: Electromagnetics and Applications EE 120: AC and RF Circuit Analysis EE 122: Introduction to Control Systems EE 131: Power Electronics EE 135: Aerospace Power Electronics and Systems EE 140: Microcontroller Architecture and Embedded Systems EE 160: Electric Power Systems Other courses as needed
The Reader will be responsible for grading homework, quizzes, exams as needed under the supervisor of the instructor. The position will require up to a maximum of 18 hours per week.
The University of California Readers are represented by the UAW-AFL-CIO.
