Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative (NOEC) delivers reliable electric service to more than 30,000 members across a four-county region, supporting over 43,000 meters. With more than 5,000 miles of overhead and underground distribution lines, NOEC serves a geographically diverse territory that includes rural communities, growing residential areas, and commercial development.
With a workforce of approximately 180 employees across the cooperative and its subsidiary operations, NOEC is proud to be one of the region’s largest and most stable employers. The organization is committed to safety, service excellence, and the long-term sustainability of the communities it serves.
NOEC’s subsidiary, Northeast Rural Services (NRS), was established in 1989 to expand the cooperative’s capabilities beyond traditional electric service. Building on that foundation, BOLT Fiber was launched in 2015 and has grown to serve more than 18,000 subscribers with high-speed fiber-to-the-home internet. Through NRS and BOLT, the cooperative continues to enhance connectivity for homes, businesses, and critical services—supporting economic development and improving quality of life across its service ter...ritory.
Together, NOEC and its subsidiary operations remain focused on delivering essential services, strengthening infrastructure, and meeting the evolving needs of their members.
