The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Integrated Health Sciences at the University at Albany, SUNY seeks an innovative and collaborative scientist for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning Fall 2026, whose research interests focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and infectious disease. Preferred candidates will demonstrate a capacity to integrate cutting-edge computational approaches with biomedical science to address urgent challenges in pathogen biology, antimicrobial resistance, outbreak dynamics, and the development of novel diagnostics and therapeutics.
