The Department of Public Works has a vacancy for a Traffic Engineering Manager to oversee the Traffic Engineering Section of the Engineering Division. The position is responsible for the management and oversight of the County’s Traffic Engineering Program. Expected duties include, but are not limited to, preparation of design and construction specifications of traffic projects, evaluation of traffic studies, oversight of traffic signals and traffic-control devices, safety programs and long-range plans, investigation, and responses to traffic-related requests from citizens and public officials, and technical support on development projects.
