Postdoctoral Fellow
Position Description: An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Precision Health Informatics Section (PHIS), a new section in the Medical Genomics and Metabolic Genetics Branch (MGMGB) at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) in Bethesda, Maryland under Dr. Josh Denny. The successful candidate will develop and apply novel, robust and scalable computational algorithms that can analyze, integrate, discover clinically relevant associations from large cohorts that have both clinical, participant-reported, and genomic data. Interested related applications include data from technologies like GWAS, whole exome and genome associations, EHR data, laboratory data, and survey data. Successful candidates will be familiar with applications of informatics
