Our client, the largest not-for-profit Protestant health care provider with 45 hospital campuses and 8,200 licensed beds in nine states is seeking a Regional Director, Women’s Health for the Texas southwest region.
The Regional Director Women’s Health will oversee the development of strategic market/network penetration and saturation plans to create a preeminent Women’s service line.
The chosen candidate will ensure appropriate placement and deployment of products/services and network assets through a collaborative planning process across four campuses within the health system.
Principal Duties- Network Strategy Development
•Identify and quantify strategic market opportunities, threats and trends with an ability to position organization for the future. •Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff. •Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff. •Development of recruitment, acquisition, physician placement and growth strategies that align with the priorities of the hospitals and physician enterprise to develop strategies to grow volumes and market share in support of strategic plans and vision. •Leads the development of regional clinic strategy to ensure timely advancement and operationalization of opportunities in a highly competitive market. •Responsible for oversight of strategy, multi-year planning, product development, and implementation of strategic and operational priorities including the annual budget process, volume planning and financial improvement initiatives •Provides strategic development, recommendations, and coordination of long-range and short-term business plans to grow market to hospitals CEO's as it relates to obstetric, gynecological and pediatric services at each of those campuses. •Oversees strategy and product/program development including market research, needs analysis, competitive market analysis and coordinates marketing plans for launch of new programs or offerings across the Network including any outside partnerships. •Oversees the development of strategic market/network penetration and saturation plans to ensure appropriate placement and deployment of products/services and network assets through a collaborative planning process across all campuses and service lines coordinated at a Senior Vice President/CEO level. •Establish, lead, appoint, & maintain service line advisory committee at each facility.
Principal Duties - Network and Program Implementation
•Develops models for the funding and implementation of new programs and methods to analyze the effectiveness of these programs including care models, financial forecasting, and deployment plans. •Liaison with specialty programs to advance women's services within each market. •Identify and quantify strategic market opportunities, threats and trends with an ability to position organization for the future by looking beyond the present state to conceptualize key trends and identify changing market demands. •Exercises independent decision-making processes to identify, plan, and execute goals. •Develops network footprint within local markets to include placement of AH for Women products, services and asset placement. •Responsible for development of strategic plans with Senior Vice Presidents/CEO's
Principal Duties - Market Assessment and Physician Relations
•Develops physician relation representatives' activities, creating an environment that enables them to maximize their time effectively and efficiently to achieve the business priorities. Provides structured feedback for annual evaluations and recommended education, training and/or relevant leadership development courses. •Responsible for developing relationships by identifying new development opportunities. •Works collaboratively with CMOs on physician satisfaction and engagement plans.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred •5 years leadership required •Experience in service line strategy, physician alignment, program development/implementation
