This position will perform electrical Engineering design and construction management services for the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The University is a prominent educational campus and world class research facility that includes more than 60 buildings, totaling more than 8 million square feet which serves over 6000 faculty, students and staff. This position has responsibility for maintaining the institutional quality of both the existing facilities as well as the new facilities. This position is responsible for project scope compliance, design management, schedule, budget management and life cycle costing, ensuring coordination between design disciplines, both internal and third party, through extensive plan, specification and submittal review. This position will also monitor the administration of contracts for construction, with emphasis on budget, schedule, and quality control. This position will work closely with University clients as well as with associated Clinic and Hospital entities that reside in University buildings to ensure that all projects meet the standards of design and construction established by the University.
