GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK: This is highly responsible technical, supervisory and administrative work that provides supervision and engineering support to the utility’s transmission and distribution and customer engineering functions.  An incumbent is considered to be a subject matter expert and is responsible for the planning, design, construction management and operations of electric transmission and distribution and lighting facilities.  Ensures that all transmission and distribution facilities are adequate to reliably meet customer demand and comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and requirements.  Perform as a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of overhead and underground transmission and distribution design. &
