Post-doctoral Position in Molecular Plant Pathology, Department of Botany and Plant Pathology, Purdue University We are seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Tesfaye Mengiste, in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology, Purdue University College of Agriculture. We study the molecular mechanisms of plant responses to pathogens. Our current research focuses on Arabidopsis, tomato and sorghum and their molecular interactions with different fungal pathogens. Specific topics cover chromatin modification and stress/pathogen response, plant immune signaling with a focus on responses to fungi as well as genetics and genomics of fungal resistance in sorghum.
