Postdoctoral Researcher
The primary focus of the Post Doctoral Fellow will be modeling water quality pollution at the watershed scale. This position will contribute to two research projects, one funded by the NSF and the other funded by the USDA. The primary role of the researcher will be implementing the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) in an integrated modeling framework focused on the impacts of nitrogen cycling. The secondary role of this researcher will be to contribute to a quantitative systematic review of PFAS/PFOA compounds in agriculture, including sources, fate/transport, and mitigation opportunities, to inform future modeling efforts. In this role, the researcher will have the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers from a variety of disciplines and to lead new proposals, if desired.
