POST DOCTORAL POSITION DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS Division of Genetics & Genomic Medicine A two-three year postdoctoral research position is available immediately. The candidate should have a recent Ph.D. in the biological sciences and a good background in molecular biology and genetics and the ability to work independently.  Our research is focused on studying the molecular basis and translational studies in  hereditary myopathies and related disorders. We are using classical methods of gene and protein analysis, gene expression array technology, stem cell biology functional and biochemical studies, CRISPR, antisense oligonucleotide technology, and gene therapy in in-vitro and animal studies.
