GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:   Performs advanced and skilled electrical work in the maintenance, repair and construction of overhead and underground transmission and distribution (T & D) lines and equipment.  Frequently works with energized high voltage lines, sometimes under unfavorable weather conditions.  Work is normally performed under the direction of a Line Crew Supervisor.  Work is subject to inspection while in progress or upon completion for quality and operating results.   TYPICAL TASKS:   Performs the installation, maintenance and repair work on low and high voltage lines.  Installs poles, transformers and other auxiliary equipment. Tests voltage loads on transformers.  Makes a
