Active Transportation Planner (Contract -2 years)
Reporting to the Senior Transportation Project Manager, the Active Transportation Planner is responsible for: Implementing, and supporting Brantford's Active Transportation Plan to provide transportation choice, reduce automobile dependency and ultimately influence a shift to more sustainable modes of transportation such as walking, cycling Providing functional guidance on how active transportation facilities can be provided through transportation master plans, environmental impact assessments, transportation corridor studies and development applications Identifying and working to close gaps in the Active Transportation Network Providing leadership and working collaboratively with public and private sector partners on policies, programs, and servi
