Postdoctoral fellow: Tissue Engineering / Blood-Brain Barrier
A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in the Searson Lab to work on tissue-engineered models of the blood-brain barrier.  The position involves reverse engineering the blood-brain barrier to understand the role of individual components on phenotype and barrier function in health and disease, and to develop strategies for drug delivery to the brain.  Experience in stem-cell culture, gene editing, microscopy, and/or microfluidics is desirable.  NIH salary scale.  All candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as a strong publication record.  Candidates should preferably be a US citizen or permanent resident.  Please e-mail your application to Peter Searson (searson @ jhu.edu), Johns Hopkins University, includi
