Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute is searching for an Electrical Engineer (Part-time) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.Responsibilities:Eliminate the robot's EMI and EMC exceedances that would otherwise preclude its approval for space flight.Isolate the robot's power system from its lander to preclude propagation of electronic noise to the lander.Lead EMI/EMC testing and reporting of results.Lead the electronic integration of design modifications to the MoonRanger rover.Other duties as assigned.
