The Tufts University School of Dental Medicine?s Department of Diagnostic Sciences invite applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Gene editing and Tissue engineering.  This post-doctoral fellowship is an opportunity to work on a project in the laboratory of Dr. Jonathan Garlick lab in collaboration with a cutting-edge startup company.  Their goal is to use gene editing and tissue engineering to create immuno-privileged tissues.  This postdoc will be responsible for leading development and working with technicians in the lab to create and culture CRISPR/Cas9 edited porcine and human cells for the creation of 3D human equivalent tissues.This is a one-year appointment, and may be extended to 2-years, contingent on the meeting of milestones and sponsor funding.Re
