The 3D Printing and Design Engineer will function as a project manager in the UCSF Center for Advanced 3D+ Applications (CA3D+). They will use advanced engineering concepts to manipulate digital medical images for clinical use, research projects, and teaching activities. They will operate and maintain the hardware and software in CA3D+, which include 3D printers, imaging workstations and VR/AR equipment. The 3D Engineer will perform post-processing, segmentation and design for 3D printing on high-end and desktop 3D printers. They will regularly work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The selected candidate will work closely with a clinical team and determine project specifications and parameters.
