The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Cardiac Surgery, seeks full-time faculty members at any rank to support its growing Robotic & Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery program. Clinical responsibilities include a focus on minimally invasive and cardiac robotic surgery as well as help support all Cardiac Surgery programs at our Hyde Park location and affiliated offsite community practices and partner locations. Appointees are expected to take call independently and help with ECMO and procurement. Other duties include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
