Biomedical Equipment Technician
Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and repair a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and hydraulic equipment, to include patient monitors, defibrillators, medical imaging equipment (X-rays, CT scanners, and ultrasound equipment), voice-controlled operating tables, electric wheelchairs, as well as other sophisticated dental, optometric, and ophthalmic equipment. Perform routine scheduled maintenance to ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Perform safety checks and train practitioners to safely operate equipment.
