The City of Wheaton is currently seeking an innovative Traffic Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for general civil engineering tasks related to the planning, operation, and design of the City of Wheaton transportation system.  Activities include studies, analysis, and addressing traffic and traffic related issues, problems, concerns, and impacts.   Essential Job Functions: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze transportation engineering aspects of the City of Wheaton to identify concerns and develop solutions.  Apply principles of traffic and transportation engineering, using appropriate reference documentation to all projects.
