Director, Division of Genome Sciences
The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Director, Division of Genome Sciences. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge and expertise to lead NHGRI’s efforts to fund extramural research and training that aims to advance our understanding of structure and function of genomes and their implications for biology and disease etiology through grants and contracts. The Director must be a recognized expert who provides authoritative leadership for a well-respected extramural research portfolio, which includes a number of prominent national and international research programs.
