Overview: Our client, one of Boston's longest tenured private asset managers, is looking for a motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Data team to develop and support critical data processing and warehousing applications

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing Python and SQL solutions
• Proficiency with data collection, data wrangling, visualizations, and ETL.
• Migrating existing systems to the cloud
• Implementing best practices in data modeling and access patterns for cost-efficiency and high performance
• Maintaining an Azure Synapse Enterprise Data Warehouse

Qualifications:

• 2-5 YOE in programming with SQL and Python
• Experience and/or passion for working in financial services
• Familiarity with enterprise applications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Value Added (but not required):

• Experience with Azure data platforms (Synapse, SQL Database, Data Factory and Data Lake)
• Experience working with data (files, rest APIs, databases) in Python
