The Owatonna Public Utilities (OPU) has an opening for an Associate Electric Engineer.  This position is responsible for performing general engineering support tasks related to field engineering, maintaining engineering records/files, as-builts/GIS system records and assisting the coordination of new residential and commercial projects and services.  Duties will include coordinating between the engineering, maintenance and construction, purchasing, stores and accounting departments within the utility on various projects and engineering tasks. This position assists the Electric Engineer in evaluating electric distribution system improvement needs and analyzing utility data to promote system efficiency, reliability and customer support. Other duties include performs field engine
