Postdoctoral Research Fellow-Cell Biology
DescriptionThe Panganiban Lab is seeking to recruit a highly creative and motivated postdoctoral research fellow to study the mechanisms of gene-environment interplay in asthma and allergic disease. The successful candidate will lead projects that aim to elucidate the functional role of gasdermins and pyroptosis in cell damage and tissue repair in asthma and other allergic diseases. The studies will involve the use of classical and modern techniques in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and functional genomics, as well as animal models of disease. Collaborations with dry labs (Bioinformatics and Epidemiology) are highly anticipated.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, execute, and record laboratory experiments, and analyze the data.
