Director - Center for Cancer Bioengineering
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking an outstanding, internationally recognized, and visionary scientist to build and lead a new Center for Cancer Bioengineering (CCBE) in the NCI Center for Cancer Research (CCR). This position is a key component of a major initiative to establish a world-class bioengineering community dedicated to cancer in the Intramural Program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The position is equivalent to a tenured academic department chair. The successful candidate will provide scientific and administrative leadership to build a new research center that develops and applies engineering principles to address critical problems in the detection, diagnosis, biology, and treatment of cancer.
