PhD program for GenOMeC Genetics Oncology and Clinical Medicine
The Doctorate is based on the study of genetic diseases, with specific focus on hereditary, developmental disorders, renal, bone diseases as well as, solid and hematological cancers. Using new methods like the IPS generation, organoids, and gene editing, allow to study the pathogenesis in human cell and animal  models of rare muscular, renal, neuro-developmental and neurodegenerative and bone diseases and to test possible gene therapies based on gene editing and tissue engineering.
