The Bioprocessing and Bioproduct Engineering Laboratory (BBEL) in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at Washington State University has developed a sequential hydrothermal liquefaction (SeqHTL) technology platform for fractional and separation of biomass. BBEL now has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to further develop the SeqHTL technology for commercialization. The specific responsibilities of the position include optimizing the process design for scale-up and integrating the extraction process with downstream separation and purification.
Solid training with demonstrated research experience in biomass processing and product separation is required.
Great work ethics and good English communication skills are required.
