The blending of research with patient care is at the heart of everything we do. The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians, and other health care workers.
The Clinical Genetics Service in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time faculty member (Assistant Attending level preferred but will also consider Associate or Professor level appointments) for clinical service and research. Our six full-time physicians, with diverse backgrounds in oncology, medical genetics, and family medicine, focus on cancer genetics, including all clinical and research aspects of counseling and reducing or managing risk of hereditary cancers. This opportunity would be particularly well suited for a physician scientist with a background in computational or functional genomics, genetic epidemiology, or targeted preventative or therapeutic interventions in populations with inherited susceptibility to cancer.
