We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer for building design with a positive, hands-on, collaborative work style to join our Durham, NC office to elevate our engineering capabilities and further grow dynamic Engineering Studios in every office of Little. Experience should include most of the following project types: civic/government, financial services, retail, high tech/R&D, healthcare, office, interior renovation, higher education, and/or education projects.

Candidates will have the following qualifications:
- You are curious and creative, have a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking, and able to collaborate in a team setting
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Strong proficiency with Revit (AutoCAD a plus) to generate construction documents
- Knowledge of building and mechanical/plumbing codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It would be a plus to have some or all of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Licensure a plus; EIT required
- Knowledge of building and mechanical/plumbing codes
- Professional energy and/or wellness certifications, such as LEED AP, WELL AP, BEMP, HPBD, etc.
- Proficiency with Energy Modeling
Little is made up of Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects & Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, CAFM & Strategic Planners and Digital Imaging and Animation specialists.
