JOB SUMMARY: Participates and directs the electrical safety, preventive maintenance and equipment repair programs for the biomedical equipment under moderate supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate's Degree (AA) in Biomedical Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent training and certification from technical school/military/industrial
Work Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) years of experience in biomedical equipment repair
Management Experience (Years and Area): N/A
Equipment Operated: Electrosurgical units, Defibrillator, Fetal Monitor, Incubator - Infant, Oximeter Spo2, Pacemaker - External Invasive, Physiologic Monitoring Sys, Tourniquets, Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitors, Ambulatory ECG Monitors, recorders, Electro encephalograph, Phototherapy Unit, Scales for clinic applications, Sphygmomanometers electronic, Microscope, Surgical OR tables, Laboratory equipment
