The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other health care workers.
The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service (MITS) is part of the Department of Radiology at MSK. Our team of physicians, technologists, nurses, physicists, pharmacists and radiochemists provides a comprehensive clinical service, conducts translational and clinical research, and provides institutional research support for a large number of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical trials. We are looking for an additional faculty member at the junior or mid-career level to join our service starting in the summer of 2021.
Criteria:
- Excellent clinical skills
- Board certification in nuclear medicine ; additional certification in another specialty (e.g., Diagnostic Radiology or Internal Medicine) is desired but not mandatory
- Eligibility for New York State license
- Interest in clinical and translational research
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate productively
