The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level without tenure due to funding (WOT), commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP), School of Medicine at the UW. This position would have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. The primary appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The selected individual for the advertised position is expected to contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding clinical care and developing excellence in clinical research in anatomic pathology/clinical pathology, with an expertise in hematopathology with interest and experience in pathology related to stem cell transplant and immunotherapy. Based on qualifications, this position could entail a leadership role as medical director of a laboratory location. Fred Hutch and University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Teaching responsibilities will involve the delivery of informal teaching sessions and formal lectures to providers and the general medical community.
