Assistant Professor of Food Science
The School of Food and Agriculture seeks applicants for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track, Assistant Professor. This is a 50% research and 50% teaching position.  The candidate will teach and advise in the undergraduate and graduate food science programs, with initial teaching responsibilities to include courses in food engineering and food preservation. The position is responsible for establishing an independent, externally-funded research program in Food Science or Food Engineering.  The candidate will conduct research to support innovation and enhance Maine’s expanding food and bioproducts industries.
