Assistant/Associate Professor
The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics (BEAM) at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure line faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level, effective August 2022. Applications are welcomed in all areas of engineering mechanics, including dynamical systems, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and biomechanics, with expertise in theoretical, computational, and/or experimental methods. Preference will be given to applications with scholarly interests that include application of engineering mechanics to problems in human health.
