The Cellular Therapy Service in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time hospitalist faculty member at the Assistant level who will attend and oversee the clinical care of patients receiving Immune Effector Cell (IEC) therapies. The Cellular Therapy Service is responsible for the clinical and laboratory-based research, care, and program for all IECs spanning from CAR T cells, TCR and TILs. The service will oversee both the investigational and FDA-approved IEC program, currently completing over 200 infusions annually, with significant expected growth over the next five years. The service consists of hematologic and medical oncologists who are dedicated to care for patients with a wide range of malignant diseases and committed to high quality clinical research with rapidly growing research portfolio. The Cellular Therapy Service supports a wide range of clinical and translational research, with recent publications in the New England Journal of Medicine, Science, Nature, Lancet and Blood. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in hematology and/or medical oncology. The selected candidate will be fully integrated in the service, mentored by the CTS senior faculty and have the opportunity to develop his/her own clinical and translational program.
