ABOUT THE E&M PROGRAM:
The E&M program is offered by the Reh School of Business and the Coulter School of Engineering and ranked among the top 25 Engineering Management programs nationally by https://www.GreatBusinessSchools.org/. The E&M program, one of the only two dually accredited programs by both AACSB and ABET, equips students with critical competencies inspired by industry, including technical problem-solving skills, team building, effective communication, multitasking, critical thinking, and cross-functional decision-making. Utilizing Clarkson’s core strengths of engineering principles and technical problem-solving, in conjunction with managerial decision-making, students receive a balanced education designed to transform them into future business and engineering leaders.

Applicants with an earned Ph.D. degree by the appointment date will be considered to begin the appointment as a teaching-track Assistant Professor position whereas applicants with a Masters degree will be considered to begin the appointment as a Professor of Practice. The standard teaching load for a teaching-track assistant professor and a professor of practice is 3 courses per semester (i.e., 6 courses in an academic year) and 4 courses per semester (i.e., 8 courses in an academic year), respectively. The expected courses will be in the areas of E&M and supply chain management. The successful candidate must demonstrate awareness and experience understanding the needs of a diverse student population through inclusive course materials and teaching strategies.
