The Arizona Power Authority (APA) is seeking a well-qualified individual to serve as its Executive Director. The position description and qualifications are provided below. The primary purpose of the Arizona Power Authority (an agency of the state of Arizona) is to receive and market Arizona’s share of Hoover dam hydroelectric power and to transmit the Hoover Power in a safe, reliable and environmentally prudent manner to the customers within the state.
The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of the Arizona Power Authority Commission. The Commission, which is composed of five members appointed by the governor, provides the overall direction and policies of the authority.
