Description: The Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) seeks an experienced educatorin anatomic/clinical pathology to teach medical students, physician assistant students, and students in associated biomedical programs. Candidates must have a strong interest in biomedical and graduate education and, as faculty, will focus on implementation and delivery of highly integrated, organ-systems-based curricula with a clinical emphasis.This position is focused on pathology education and student mentoring and academic support. Scholarly activity in medical education and/or basic science or clinical research is expected. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Minimum qualifications: Candidates must hold a MD or DO, or an equivalent degree, with board certification/board eligibility, or a PhD in pathology. The applicant is expected to have expertise in general pathology (perhaps with subspecialty expertise),prior teaching experience in a medical or biomedical pathology program, and possess excellent communication skills. Evidence of teaching excellence and commitment to professional development and leadership in education is essential. Currently fundedresearch activity is not a prerequisite. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
