As the Director of Regional Services and Solutions - US, you will have a disciplined focus on growth andbe an inspirational leader who ensures strong leadership practices at every level of our organization.While building upon solid infrastructure, you will have the support of an established, highly regarded teamof professionals who are passionate about developing innovative technology for our customers.
This position is also responsible for expanding our regional customer base and technological capabilities,which will be achieved by partnering with divisional Product and Business Development leaders, and otherkey internal and external stakeholders.

TYPICAL DUTIESResponsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:• Participate in the development and implementation of medium and long-term plans to supportdivisional objectives and growth of the regional business.• Initiate, build, and enhance relationships with Customers, partners, and other key internal and externalstakeholders.• Work closely with the Sales & Business Development team to define, develop, and execute regionalsales growth strategies and campaigns to achieve organizational objectives.• Develop and deliver effective presentations and demonstrations on the value of our offerings toCustomers and to close sales.• Work collaboratively with Global Product Managers to evaluate, establish, and develop regionalopportunities.• Lead through management and mentorship, while embodying, fostering, and enforcing ANDRITZvalues and principles.• Assist in the development of the regional budget and monitor and control the financial performance.• Oversee the forecasting of engineering schedules and resources for the region.• Work in partnership with the Director of Regional Services & Solutions - Canada to ensure cooperation,coordination and collaboration between the division’s North American locations.• Act as a technical advisor on major programs, proposals, and complex projects.
• Ensure that the project activities of the local offices are successfully executed and adhere to the quality standards established by the Company.• Identify and manage technical risks across the portfolio of projects within the assigned region.• Participate on the Quality Management Review Committee.• Network with industry groups and professional organizations to establish the presence and reputation of the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or diploma in technology (electrical or automation preferred)• Experience leading the definition and execution of sales growth strategies• Passionate about leading and developing high performing teams• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills• Ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiences• Significant Pulp & Paper industry experience• Excellent track record in managing and delivering large, complex engineering projects• Minimum of 15 years’ extensive engineering experience• Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing design teams within a consultancy environment• Legally entitled to work in the US• Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s degree in business administration an asset but not required• Mining and/or Lime industry experience an asset but not required
