The Indian Wells Valley Water District (Ridgecrest, CA) is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Senior Engineer to perform a full range of engineering duties including planning, design, plan checking, inspection, regulatory compliance, and technical assistance to other staff.

The Assistant Engineer is an entry level position and will receiving training to perform all duties as assigned.  The Associate/Senior level positions are expected to work independently and exercising judgement and initiative. 

The ideal candidate will have experience effectively managing multiple projects; ensuring quality of work; is team-oriented; has engineering design experience, specifically in water or wastewater projects; has exemplary customer service standards and can establish effective working relationships; has experience managing and administering public construction projects and contracts; and possesses excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with AutoCAD and GIS is a plus.
