Taylor Engineering, Inc. seeks to hire a team-oriented and production-focused professional to work at any of our Florida office locations (Destin, Jacksonville, Sarasota, or Tampa). This professional will support the organization as necessary to accomplish the mission through work in several areas including planning, project management, permitting, design, engineering, and construction administration for projects in. - Dredging
- Dredged material management planning
- Dredged material management infrastructure and facilities
- Other water resources, coastal, and waterfront facilities
Professionals whose background or experience includes planning, engineering, geology/geotechnical analysis, design, regulatory permitting, and construction administration are preferred. Requirements A qualified candidate will possess the following. - Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree, Masters degree preferred
- 5 – 15 years of experience
- Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), OR ability to obtain PE license in Florida within 1-2 years, OR other appropriate/commensurate professional licensure/credentials
- Experience and comfort working both in the field for construction administration tasks and in the office for planning, design, management, and administrative duties
- Experience or interest in detailed planning and design work, construction document development, and construction observation
- Knowledge of and/or experience in navigation dredging and dredged material management concepts
- Thorough understanding of project management principles needed to effectively integrate various project disciplines
