Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: B.S. in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university. 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PCB Design, including knowledge of industry-standard practices for schematics, board layouts, specifications, tolerances, and gerber files. Experience with Altium Designer preferred. Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic systems from board level to system level. This includes both bench testing and field testing. Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, DMMs, etc.). Ability to solder surface mount components. Wiring diagram and cable harness design experience. Circuit analysis ability, both manually and wifth SPICE. Experience with DC motors and controls, especially H-Bridge design, testing, and troubleshooting. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents. Strong technical writing skills for generating reports, manuals, specifications, and test procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, or customers. Ability to define problems, collect data, and evaluate potential solutions. Ability to apply a methodical approach toward both design and troubleshooting tasks. Professional Engineering (PE) Certification preferred. Other Preferred Skills and Abilities: Analog / digital video; Control system design; C / C++; Test fixture design; Wireless communications; SolidWorks; Industrial automation / HMIs.
