The Surveyor (Professional) position supports the City of Austin Public Works Department in the Quality Management Division. This position will review easements, easement releases dedications, right-of-way acquisitions, right-of-way and alley vacations, license agreements, fee acquisitions and annexations. This position will research record information, process survey data, prepare CAD files and field notes and assist field crew for boundary, topographic and design surveys.

Education and/or Equivalent Experience:

  • Two (2) years of experience as a certified Surveyor in Training (SIT).

Licenses or Certifications:

  • Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in good standing with the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying (TPBLS); or become licensed within six (6) months

NOTES:
Telecommuting is allowed.
