Fair Dermody Consulting Engineers is looking for a self-motivated Bridge Engineer interested in working on railroad bridge rehabilitation projects throughout the east coast. We are a small engineering firm looking to grow our team to meet our client's increasing demand. Projects will consist of a broad scope of railroad engineering issues including bridge design, bridge rehabilitation, bridge inspection, tunnel rehabilitation, track design, and track rehabilitation. Tasks will include managing all project phases including but not limited to inspection, permitting, design, bid, construction, and completion. To be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. The ideal candidate will also review the work of peers and communicate constructive feedback. Work will be performed in both field and office settings. Fair Dermody maintains clients in 12 states from Maine to Florida. Frequent site visits and overnight stays are required. The candidate can expect to travel approximately 10% of the year.
