The Center seeks to hire smart and ambitious junior faculty and postdoctoral candidates with strong background training in either statistical genetics or genetic epidemiology. Either a PhD or ScD in these areas of study is required with 2-4 years of experience in “-omics” research. Candidate must be proficient in creating pipelines and analyzing large-scale -omics data, such as whole genome sequence data, RNA-seq data, or metabolomic data. Candidate will initially work with experienced grant-funded principal investigators, thereby supporting analyses, grant applications, and manuscript efforts. Center investigators also mentor candidates with the goal of producing new independent investigators. CIGMA values its team members and seeks happy, productive, and well-balanced lives for its faculty and staff, as well as a friendly and collegial work environment. A curriculum vitae (CV), letters of reference, and representative publications are useful for consideration.
