The Department of Operations and Information Management in the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison is conducting a search for a senior faculty member who would also serve at least one term as department chair upon arrival, starting fall 2021. Applicants should have a record of excellence in teaching and research, with an aptitude for leadership. Candidates at the Professor or advanced Associate Professor rank are invited.
The OIM department offers a PhD program, full-time MBA specializations in Supply Chain Management and Operations and Technology Management, undergraduate majors in Information Systems, Operations and Technology Management, and Supply Chain Management, and an MS in Supply Chain Management. We have a presence in the MS in Business Analytics, as well as the Professional and Executive MBA programs. The department houses the Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management and the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management, both of which are founded on the principles of cross-functional perspectives and industry engagement.
