As the Department Manager of Forensics at Delta Engineering & Inspection, Inc., you must have expertise in forensic investigations, identifying construction defects; preparing expert forensic reports, preparing opinions of probable costs, providing expert testimony in deposition, mediation and trial as well as overseeing the preparation of repair documents, and construction administration services. You will be able to work with a wide variety of structures including condominiums, commercial buildings, plazas, and parking garages, contact and maintain clients, manage staff and resources, outline forensic objectives and testing, and developer transition studies while working with a multidiscipline team of engineers and technical staff members.
Successful candidates must have a solid knowledge of architectural, structural, building envelope, glazing and waterproofing systems. Work will involve on-site field investigation and some travel (within Florida). Strong computer, writing, communication, and management skills are necessary. Florida Professional Engineer (PE) with minimum BSCE degree or Registered Architect (RA) and at least 7 years of experience are required with demonstrated experience in a senior consultant and management.
