The University of Notre Dame’s Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences (CEEES) invites applications for two non-tenure-track teaching faculty positions which will shape and build our university’s future construction-related course offerings at both departmental and campus-wide levels. The respective responsibilities for each of these endowed positions are as follows:

Education and Experience: Doctoral degrees in construction engineering and/or management or a closely related discipline are desirable with both positions, as well as a strong commitment to outstanding student teaching and advising. Alternative degree backgrounds may be considered contingent upon outstanding professional career experience. Professional engineering registration and significant construction-oriented background also highly favorable. We are looking for faculty members who will actively support and help create a climate of excellence and diversity, and will contribute to the department's efforts to attract and retain a diverse student body.
Background Check: This appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Applicants will be asked to identify all felony convictions and/or pending felony charges.
