The Town of Castle Rock has an excellent opportunity for a Public Works Development Division Manager. Under general direction of the Assistant Director, this position performs professional and managerial work ensuring new development plan reviews and infrastructure construction are completed in accordance with Town design criteria requirements and specifications. Performs technical engineering reviews of residential and commercial plans. Oversees the Public Works development plan review and development inspection processes. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the shared values of the Town.
Qualifications generally include a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; supplemented by five years of progressively responsible development plan review, construction, or closely related experience that includes two years of leadership/supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination. A valid Colorado Driver’s License is required for site visits. A Colorado Professional Engineer’s license is preferred. Successful candidate must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and driving record check prior to commencing employment.
